Morph Name: Light
Common Name: Haas's woodlouse
Type: Isopod

Keeping
Dificulty Level:
Beginner
Purpose: Bioactive display
Origin: Spain
Enclosure: Ventilated plastic bin or glass terrarium with 2–4 in (5–10 cm) moist substrate of peat, leaf litter, and cork bark flats.
Climate: Mediterranean; 64-72 °F (18-22 °C)
Humidity Requirements: 60-70% RH
Hydration: Light corner mist every 10–14 days; maintain one damp end of the enclosure. A hydration station is ideal here—Porcellio do not need heavy hydration, and the station wicks water into the substrate to keep pods from drying out. It adds consistency and supports moisture for up to 2 weeks between refills.
Diet: Decaying leaf litter, rotten hardwood, and vegetables. Offer Muscle Meal 2–3× weekly for breeding, Garden Graze 1–2× weekly, Fungal Feast weekly on wood, and Calci-YUM with feedings or as a constant dish.

Reproduction
Adult Size: 0.55-0.79 in (14-20 mm)
Breed Rate: Moderate
Breeding Season: Year-round
Brood Size: 20–50 mancae per brood
